Vincent Van Gogh

(30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890)

Vincent Willem van Gogh was born on the 30th of March, 1853 in a small village in the Netherlands called Zundert. Today he is considered among the most famous and influential people in the history of Western art.

During his lifetime Van Gogh sold only a single painting. However, while his life may have been tragic, he left over 850 paintings and almost 1,300 works on paper that would soon after become recognized for their importance and genius.

This historical questline was available in May 2018, and rewarded users with a unique portrait of Van Gogh as well as a new building: The Magnum Opus.
