Evento de Carnaval 2018
Carnivals are rooted in an old tradition. The Carnival in Venice started as a festival in honor of the victory of the Republic of Venice against the Patriarch of Aquileia in the year 1162.
The celebration changed and evolved over the years and was even banned for nearly two centuries before reaching its contemporary style.
Carnival 2018
In February of 2018 you will not take part in the Grand Mascerade Ball of Venice. Instead you will stroll around the back alleys of the town and take part in all kind of back alley games.
All the action takes place in the event window.
You get 1 Arquivo:Icon carnival tickets.png Carnival Ticket every 1 hour, though these hourly Tickets stop if you have 11 or more Tickets so make sure you give them away in order to be able to get new ones.
Select one of the three games you would like to play and use up one Ticket. Each game has a different chance to win Arquivo:Icon carnival coins.png Florins as a prize. The smaller the chance for winning, the bigger the reward.
Every time you fail, the pool of Florins rises for that particular option. The first person lucky enough to win will take all the available Florins and the pool of Florins will reset.
You can choose to pay Tickets to double the chance to win the game and getting the jackpot of Florins.
The Florins you collected from the games and the questline can used for obtaining a huge variety of prizes.
There are different types of prizes that you can get in the Venice Carnival:
There is a direct prize which you can buy with Florins. The direct prizes rotate and will change every several hours, so keep an eye out on it if you're looking for something in particular!
There is a chest that contains a few potential prizes. When you open a chest you will win one of those prizes at random. The contents of the chest rotate as well so watch the timer below it!
The Top Gamester reward is one you will receive if you win the most Florins from a game in your neighborhood. If you manage to have the highest amount of Florins from a single Ticket when the timer gets to 0, you will win it! This statue is proof of your accomplishment and a great embodiment of the spirit of the Venice Carnival.
To increase your chances of winning rewards, complete quests presented to you by a Casanova. These quests will give you Florins, several event buildings and new portraits.

Grand Bridge
The Grand Bridge is a special upgradable building. Once you have it on the level 1 (you will receive it in one of the first quests), you have a chance to upgrade it up to six times! In order to do so, you have to advance through the questline and get upgrade items. You can also get them as a reward from the event chests you can open with Florins.

Carnival 2017
In February of 2017 in Forge of Empires, you have a chance to lose yourself in the colorful maelstrom that is the Carnival of Venice. In this Event, you will also assist a mysterious quest giver in finding love. You will do so by offering roses to masked attendants of a ball. They may give you hearts in return.
All the action takes place in the event window.
You get 1 Rose every 1 hour, though these hourly Roses stop if you have 11 or more Roses so make sure you give them away in order to be able to get new ones.
You give Roses to one of 3 masked attendees. They each come with a different chance to accept them and in return give you Hearts. The smaller the chance for winning, the bigger the reward.
Every time you're rejected, the pool of hearts rises for that particular option. The first person lucky enough to be accepted will take all the available hearts and the pool of Hearts will reset.
You can choose to pay Hearts for a double chance at an attendee accepting your Rose.
